The Hydro and Agro Informatics Institute, a public organisation under the Science and Technology Ministry, forecast a sharp drop in temperatures from upper Thailand to Bangkok in the coming week. The European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts (ECMWF), an independent organisation supported by 34 states, predicts lows of 14C in the morning and daytime highs of 25-26 degreesfor Bangkok during the period. Temperatures in upper Thailand including Bangkok will drop by 6-8 degrees with gusty winds from Saturday to Monday, it said.
